Giants 2022
Playball! Giants' new season just started. The Giants got the winning series over the Marlins in the opening series. My favorite player in this year's squad is Darin Ruf. Not only because he played in Korea, but also because he showed solid two years as a Giant. Many might think he is just a big guy (yes, he has the power - let's be with the rhythm of the master of the universe), but I believe he proved he was not slow (though not so fast) in the first game, and moreover, he showed solid defense at the first base on Sunday.
I was irritated when the fanbase complained the team did not burn a bunch of money to get big-name FAs. I cannot understand why they don't remember the gloomy years that the team did the exact money party. Now, the Giants are not a pushover anymore. I believe we are the smartest team in the league, and I'm proud of it. It was "fun" to see that Fangraphs predicted only 85.7 wins for Giants this season. Yep, I'm 100% sure that we will see another upheaval season. If not? What's the matter? We will get "more than 162 opportunities for torture and glory." It took only one game to be reminded of how much torture we loved. Wouldn't it be fun enough?
